This policy explains what information the ImtiazAI website collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. It is written to describe what the site actually does today.
Who we are
ImtiazAI is an independent faculty spin-off venture founded by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Imtiaz Shafiq under the University of the Punjab's Research, Innovation & Commercialization (RIC) Policy. It is not a University of the Punjab department or commercial company. Privacy questions can be sent to imtiaz.ibb@pu.edu.pk.
Information we collect
We collect only what you choose to send us or what is needed to run the site:
- Contact form. Your name, email address, inquiry type, subject, and message, plus your phone number and organization if you choose to provide them.
- WhatsApp. If you use a WhatsApp button, WhatsApp opens with a pre-filled message. Nothing is sent until you send it yourself, and the conversation is then handled under WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy.
- Technical data. Our hosting provider records standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) to keep the site secure and working.
Cookies and tracking
This site does not currently use advertising cookies or analytics tracking. If that changes, this policy will be updated before it does.
How we use your information
We use what you send us to read and respond to your inquiry, to discuss or arrange consultancy, training, or curriculum work, and to keep a record of professional correspondence. We do not sell or rent your information.
Who processes it on our behalf
When you submit the contact form, our server forwards it to an automation service (Make.com), which delivers it to the founder by email. The site is hosted on Vercel. These providers handle your information only to deliver those services.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiries for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of professional correspondence. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your choices
You may ask to see, correct, or delete the information you have sent us by emailing imtiaz.ibb@pu.edu.pk. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including sending form data over an encrypted connection and keeping service credentials off the public website. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
This website is written for professionals, institutions, and adult learners and is not directed at children.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, the updated version will be posted here with a new “last updated” date.
